Donor information handling
We collect donor details needed to process support, acknowledge gifts, and meet compliance obligations. Information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and accessed only by authorised personnel and processors.

Acknowledgement process
After a donation is verified as successfully received through an enabled payment pathway, Ananda Living Foundation will acknowledge the gift. Receipt will be issued according to applicable compliance requirements.
No receipt for initiated, failed, cancelled, expired, or unverified payments
Duplicate payment events cannot create duplicate receipts
Support interest registration is acknowledged separately when payment is not live
Donation-deduction approval
Ananda Living Foundation has provisional registration under Section 332(8) and provisional approval under Section 354(4), valid from Tax Year 2026-27 through Tax Year 2028-29. Eligible INR contributions from Indian citizens may qualify for deduction under applicable law, subject to the donor's eligibility and the conditions governing the contribution. The approval is provisional and valid for the period stated above.

Indian-source eligibility
Ananda Living currently accepts INR donations from Indian citizens, including Indian citizens residing outside India who donate from their own funds through permitted banking channels. Contributions from foreign citizens, OCI cardholders, foreign companies, foreign foundations, and other foreign sources cannot currently be accepted because Ananda Living does not hold FCRA registration.
