What is Ananda Living Foundation building?
Ananda Living Foundation is building a dignity-first Active Ageing Community model for India, where older adults can live with independence, purpose, companionship, wellness, and appropriate everyday support.
Is Ananda Living an old-age home or nursing facility?
No. Ananda Living is designed as an active, resident-first community, not an old-age home, hospital, or restrictive care institution. Residents should be able to participate in community life while preserving personal independence.
Who can join Ananda Living?
The proposed community is intended primarily for adults aged 55 and above who seek an active, connected, and purposeful community lifestyle. Couples may join where at least one partner is 55 or above, subject to final eligibility, wellbeing, and community-suitability review.
Is submitting residency interest a booking or admission approval?
No. Submitting residency interest is free and non-binding. It is not a booking, admission approval, financial commitment, token payment, or guarantee of a studio.
Are the residency charges final?
No. Charges shown on the website are indicative for planning and transparency. Final inclusions, fees, security deposits, refund provisions, and annual review terms will be confirmed through approved residency policies and agreements.
What is Himalaya for Residents?
Himalaya is the proposed digital resident experience for everyday support, family connection, services, communication, and transparent community coordination. It is being designed to support human care, not replace it.
What if a resident is not comfortable with technology?
Technology use will not be required for belonging. Residents may use Himalaya directly or receive assisted access through community staff or approved family members. No resident should be excluded for being less confident with technology.
Can residents with additional support needs join?
Ananda Living is committed to dignity for all. Residents requiring ongoing personal assistance or disability-related support may need appropriate attendant arrangements to ensure wellbeing, safety, and community suitability.
Can people donate now?
Online payment processing is not yet enabled. This form records your support interest and does not charge you. Ananda Living Foundation has provisional approval for eligible donation deductions under Section 354(4), valid from TY 2026-27 through TY 2028-29. Eligible INR contributions from Indian citizens may qualify for deduction under applicable law, subject to the donor's eligibility and the conditions governing the contribution. Ananda Living currently accepts INR donations from Indian citizens, including Indian citizens residing outside India who donate from their own funds through permitted banking channels. Contributions from foreign citizens, OCI cardholders, foreign companies, foreign foundations, and other foreign sources cannot currently be accepted because Ananda Living does not hold FCRA registration.
How can families or partners contact Ananda Living?
Families, donors, CSR teams, land partners, and institutional collaborators can contact Ananda Living Foundation through the Contact page or the residency-interest form. The team will respond with the appropriate next step.
